Frequently Asked Questions

ELECTRO-EUROPE

1. Why electro-Europe products? What is the main advantage?
Our company had been analyzing the electric scooters plants in China for 2 years. As a result, we have picked the best the best plant that knows the European market and able to satisfy the expectations of European customers with the best quality. Now we have an opportunity to offer you electric-scooters where the main components are supplied by the World-Famous brands: engine from Bosch; controller from LB; rechargeable batteries from Panasonic and Samsung; shock absorbers and disk brake system fit the overall level of quality of the products, as well as all of the all of the above each scooter has a high- quality painting of the scooter frame; waterproof electrical connector IP65 (Ingress Protection Rating – a system of classification of the levels of protection of electrical enclosure equipment according to the international standard IEC 60529); high- quality assembly and quality assurance before selling. The plant has more than 20 years of experience in making electric scooters and electric bicycles and a well working system of quality assurance.

2. What are the first things you should pay attention to when exploiting the electric scooters?
Check the level of charge on the rechargeable battery: it must be full when exploiting it. Check the correct connection of the rechargeable battery cable.

3. Overall information about the rechargeable battery (RB): manufacturer, materials, lifetime?
Rechargeable batterie from Samsung, produced by the manufacturer of rechargeable batteries Tianneng in China, lithium ion battery cells 18650, same as Tesla cars battery cells. Lifetime is 800 cycles, guaranteed time till full charge is no more than 10 hour.

4. How long does it take to charge the RB to 100% at home conditions?
6 hours in average.

5. The quantity of electro energy consumed (Kw/h) when charging the RB from 10% to 100% at home conditions?
1.56 Kw/h

6. What is the level of RB charge needed to drive 10 km?
10% of the full RB charge.

7. What is the time needed to charge the RB to 10% which allow to drive 10 km?
10 minutes in average.

8. Number of cycles (lifetime) of RB?
800 cycles.

9. Is it needed to charge RB to 100%?
No need, same principle of work as the lithium batteries of mobile phones.

10. Is it permitted to charge the RB if it is not fully discharged? How often? Does it ruin the RB?
RB can be charged at any time. It does not depend on the level of charge and it is not dangerous for the RB.

11. Is it allowed to use the RB if it is not fully charged? How often? Does it ruin the RB?
RB can be used without waiting before it is fully charged, however the charge must not be lower than 10%, in this case it is not dangerous for the RB.

12. What is the minimum level of charge of RB needed to use it without any risk of harming it?
Minimum 10% of the full RB charge.

13. Is it allowed to use the RB from another manufacturer, not from the set supplied?
This is forbidden because of the different BMS. BMS (Battery Management System)- this is an electric board which is placed on the rechargeable battery with an aim to control the process of its charge/ discharge, to monitor the state of the RB and its elements, to control the temperature, number of cycles of charge/ discharge, to protect the parts of the rechargeable battery. The system of control and balance provides an individual control of voltage and resistance of each RB element, distributes the current between the parts of RB during the process of charging, it controls the discharge current, deduces the loss of capacity because of disbalance, it guarantees a safe connection/disconnection when it is loaded.

14. What are the advantages of the supplied RB?
Famous brand of the manufacturer, verified factory with a great experience of manufacturing rechargeable batteries, high standards of quality control.

15. How to increase the run to 100-120 km?
It is possible to buy a special set of 2 batteries or drive with the speed no more than 25 km/h using the existing RB. The special set of 2 batteries could be purchased from us.

16. What is the weight of the standard RB?
11.8 kg.

17. Is it safe to leave electric scooter under a rain? Is it mandatory to cover it with a rain shield?
It is better to use a rain shield. However, it is also not a problem to leave the scooter without one. Such rain shields may be acquired from us for a separate payment.

18. What to do if an electric scooter suddenly stopped amid the driving?
Check if the switch of an electric brake of the break lever is loose. And check if the RB cable is properly connected.

19. What to do if the RB suddenly got out of charge during the ride?
Same as in the question 18, check if the RB cable is properly connected, its also advised to always check the RB before the ride.

20. What are the advantages of an electric engine over a gas engine: in terms of consumption, for an electric: in kw / 100km and for gas engines: in liters / 100km?
An approximate energy consumption is 2.35 kw/h per 100km.

21. What is the braking distance (m) for an electric scooter for different speed and in different climate?
20km/h – dry road: 8m.; in rain: 12m.;
30km/h – dry road: 10m; in rain: 15m;
45km/h – dry road: 15m; in rain:20m;

22. If I am planning to leave my scooter unused for a duration of more than 4 weeks, is it necessary to take out the RB and store it separately? Do I need to charge the RB till 100%?
In this case its better to take the RB out and fully charge it. In case it’s a long period of more than 90 days, its necessary to charge the RB again.

23. It is necessary to unplug the RB when it is fully charged?
It is unnecessary but only if its less than a full day (24h).
